We are inviting you to the first-ever Alberta Emergency Student Congress. Student  leaders from across Alberta will gather to discuss the impact of cuts to education,  unprecedented provincial budget cuts, and massive tuition increases (please see this Fact Sheet). We want you to come  and share your ideas for how to respond, and vote on the path forward. We want to hear how  the cuts are impacting your community, and how we can work together in response.  

The Congress will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, March 27, over Zoom, and  is hosted by the Council of Alberta University Students. Small-group discussion sessions will  be held in the morning to collect your feedback and ideas. After a lunch break, we will have an  exciting keynote speaker, followed by a plenary session where we will vote to affirm our  stances on the issues and on what our next steps should be.
